Support Groups at EVC are communities focused on specific goals or life stages. Look for more support groups to be added soon! If you have an idea for a support group, email us at info@eaglesviewchurch.org with your idea.

  • families with hope

    For loved ones of those living with a mental illness. These groups provide an environment where you can share your burdens, glean from others experience and find strength being with people who are on the same path.


    1st Sundays of the month - 1:15 to 3:15pm (led by Jorge, Blanca and Peggy, Classroom 114; Childcare provided)

    1st Sundays of the month - 5:30 to 7:30pm - The Hills Church in North Richland Hills, Classroom 216 (led by Wendy)


  • Living with hope

    For those living with some form of mental unwellness.  These groups are designed to be a source of support and open dialogue.  We give participants a chance to share their concerns, frustrations, ask questions and share breakthroughs to benefit others in the group.  We are not a therapy group, nor is the group designed to replace therapy or interfere with any medical treatment being received by participants.


    1st Sundays of the month - 1:15 to 3:15pm - Classroom 115 (led by Starlyn and Amy)  Childcare provided.

    1st Sundays of the month - 5:30 to 7:30pm - The Hills Church in North Richland Hills, Classroom 218 (led by Chris and Sabrina)

  • HOPE Just4kids

    For children K-5th grades who are dealing with depression, anxiety, focus issues and social skills support.

    Co-leaders Gabby and Hope will engage with your kids in a loving, supportive role.

    For Middle and High School Students feeling hopeless and overwhelmed with life.  Each of us face different challenges and each of us has a unique story. When we come together to share our stories we are able to offer each other support and encouragement.  Parental Consent forms available at the start of each group meeting.

  • veterans with hope

    Get together with other veterans and share your experiences in a setting where what is shared in the group stays in the group. We encourage one another as we look to God and the Bible for strength to face our challenges and for answers to our questions.  We are not a therapy group, nor is the group designed to replace therapy or interfere with any medical treatment being received by participants.

Through sound teaching and proven principles, men learn how to strengthen their sexual integrity so they can walk in freedom.  This is not just another study tool for men, but a tried and proven battle plan for purity in a lustful and Godless world.

This group is for YOUNG MEN ages 15 - 19 years.   • divorcecare support group - starting March 16

    DivorceCare Support Groups meet weekly to help you face the challenges of divorce and move toward rebuilding your life. The DivorceCare curriculum lasts 13 weeks; however, each session is self-supporting. You may come into the group at any time. When the curriculum starts over, you are welcome to stay and be a part of what you missed out on.  Registration Fee:  $15.00.  For more information, please check out www.divorcecare.org .

  • Griefshare grief recovery support group

  • journey women support group

    Journey is for women who have experienced hurt and betrayal as a result of their spouses’ struggle with sexual integrity.  Journey women will find a safe place to grieve and heal with others so they can be transformed from the inside out, no matter what choices their spouses make along the way.


    Every OTHER Tuesday of the month, 6:30 - 8:30pm, (led by Kathryn, Classroom 115, Workbook $20 - scholarships available; Childcare provided)

  • Living with chronic illness

    For those living with any health condition or disease that is persistent or long-lasting.  God didn't intend for you to suffer alone, so we gather together to laugh, mourn and support one other.


    1st Saturdays of the month, 10:00am - 12:00pm. (led by Jimmy and Arlene, Room 114)

  • making peace with your past support group -

                                                                       starting march 17!

    Making Peace With Your Past will help you find healing, understanding, and freedom from past experiences that are affecting your daily life. This support group is for individuals wanting to change patterns of behavior linked to family of origin issues and is not intended to replace Professional Christian counseling.


    Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm. (led by Dave, Classroom 104)

  • Survivors of suicide loss support group

    You are a "survivor of suicide," and as that unwelcome designation implies, your survival -- your emotional survival -- will depend on how well you learn to cope with your tragedy.  The bad news: surviving this will be the second worst experience of your life. The good news: the worst is already over.
